          Ryan is an avid musician that has been playing piano since he was 8. Starting his music journey, Ryan took the path of what most pianists go through, learning classical pieces and taking ABRSM graded examinations. 

 

          During his time learning classical music, Ryan took interest into modern popular music and rock genres. Seeing as piano was his only instrument, Ryan took up the challenge of arranging the songs he loved into solo piano pieces. 

 

          After completing his first diploma in classical piano, Ryan continued to pursue contemporary music in Lasalle College of the Arts where he was introduced the style of pop piano.

 

          Gaining experience from playing ensembles and teaching piano, Ryan has equipped himself with techniques that incorporate classical elements into modern popular music.
